Due to recent travel restrictions, ISMR 2025 has been postponed to November 18-20, 2025.

 

 

The 2025 International Symposium on Medical Robotics (ISMR) will be hosted on the campus of Georgia Tech from November 18-20, 2025. ISMR 2025 will feature keynotes, semi-plenary talks, and workshop(s)/tutorial(s), in addition to oral/poster presentations. ISMR 2025 will bring together people from engineering, medicine, and industry, who are working in various areas within the field of medical robotics, thereby creating a common platform for exchanging ideas and fostering future developments in the field.

Journal of Medical Robotics Research (JMRR) Special Issue of ISMR 2025 Selected papers presented at ISMR 2025 will be individually invited to submit an extended version of their ISMR 2025 paper for a special issue in JMRR, to be published in 2021. The JMRR contribution must contain recognizable new contributions and results beyond that of ISMR 2025. Selected Workshop/Tutorials organizers at ISMR 2025 will be invited to put together a special issue on that workshop/tutorial topic for publication in JMRR (to be published in 2021).

Workshops will be held on November 18, 2025.  Proposals for half-day and full-day workshops/tutorials are invited.
